Karnataka Students Embark on Scientific Journey to Japan
In a remarkable achievement for Karnataka's educational sector, four government pre-university students have been selected to participate in the Sakura Science Program 2026 in Japan. The programme, which runs from 24th to 30th May, offers these budding scientists a golden opportunity to dive into Japan's cutting-edge research and innovation landscape.
The Sakura Science Program aims to foster international scientific exchange, inviting students who have not previously visited Japan for academic purposes. For the four selected students, it is their maiden academic voyage to the Land of the Rising Sun. They will engage with peers and mentors, gaining insights into Japan’s renowned scientific methodologies.
