Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar took the opportunity to spotlight the force's groundbreaking AI initiatives, such as 'C-Mitra', 'AI Cop-Writer' and 'SOC-EYE'. These programmes are designed to enhance efficiency in tackling cybercrime and drug-related offences. 'C-Mitra', for instance, offers the public a digital friend in distress, providing assistance and information in real-time.
As flags were unfurled, the significance of the day was not lost on those present. Commissioner Sajjanar's message was poignant — policing in Telangana is not only about enforcement but also about reform and community engagement.
