PVR INOX Eyes Live Events to Boost Entertainment Revenues
PVR INOX, a venerated name in Indian cinema, is steering its course towards a broader definition of entertainment. Ajay Bijli, the Managing Director, has been vocal about this evolution, stating that PVR INOX is poised to become India's leading out-of-home entertainment destination. 'We have witnessed significant interest and commercial success with our live events. This is not just a supplementary offering but a core part of our future strategy,' Bijli remarked.
While films remain the backbone of PVR INOX's business, the company acknowledges the shifting tides in audience preferences. The increasing appetite for diverse entertainment experiences outside the conventional cinema format is a trend that cannot be ignored.
