Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL) has embarked on a strategic financial manoeuvre by issuing 20.94 crore convertible warrants to Sunbright Mauritius Investments, a promoter group entity. This step, ratified by the company's Extraordinary General Meeting, signals a robust infusion of Rs 2,237 crore aimed at strengthening the company's financial foothold.
Notably, the move has received the blessing of Norges Bank Investment Management, a significant foreign institutional shareholder, which has given the green light to the preferential issue of 169.5 million fully-convertible warrants.
